I have been on IMVU for 17 years and developing for about 13 or 14 years under my account which us under the name ******************** sent out an email around May 15, 2023. This is a virtual company with virtual products that members of the community create. I am product creator with a company called IMVU. Here is IMVU's contact information: (Unfortunately I couldn't find a phone number or relevant email on their site.)IMVU PO Box **** ************, ** ***** fax: ************ The forum topic relating to this update of the terms has over 600 comments from fellow IMVU creators disagreeing with this change. So many creators feel the exact same way I do. While this eases the burden on people with multiple accounts, it's still putting their earnings behind a paywall and does nothing to address those that only have one account.Ultimately, I just feel this is incredibly unethical and exploitative. IMVU has attempted to ease the situation by allowing creators with multiple accounts to link their accounts, essentially these creators only have to pay one *** subscription for 3 accounts. It was my intention to earn money for my art. When I signed the creator agreement, it was not my intention to purely make products as a hobby. While credits are used to upload products to their catalog, the sheer amount I and many other creators have accumulated over the years means earning more is pointless. They can only be used on IMVU and they cannot be sold or traded for money. The only thing I can't do is acquire money for my work any longer. I can continue to freely use the software without a *** subscription. I can continue to create virtual products and put them in my shop. However, starting in July, IMVU is planning to take that ability away UNLESS you pay for a monthly subscription to their site via the *** Program. IMVU since 2012 has given creators the option to earn either credits (their currency) or money from sales of products. My current issue is related to my earnings and the ability to cash out what I've earned. I make digital art/products and sell them through IMVU's virtual catalog. I'm what they call a creator or developer. I'm a self employed contractor for an online virtual chat site called IMVU. Anything that is GA has nothing in the corner. You will see the pink ** square in the upper corner. The nails that I am wearing are rated ** for some reason. The last photo that I am sending has the ** item. I did not go against anything and never have. I refuse to be put in violation of anything when they have something rated one way and then accuse me of doing something wrong. **************** refuses to listen to me and wants to accuse me of doing something wrong instead of taking the blame on themselves for approving something as GA that maybe shouldn't have been. You can see from my photo that I am in a public room, location at the bottom of photo, and it posted to the feed. It won't let you take photos in a public room and post it to your feed. Also, I am including the public post that was made. Items that are rated ** have a pink ** in the corner of the item and I will show you that as well by putting on an ** item and taking a photo. I am going to include info on their TOS as well as pics of the items I am wearing in the post showing that they are rated GA. If this item should not be GA, it is their error, not mine. I want this violation/accusation removed from my account. I've been a member for fifteen years and never had a post reported or removed. I have been trying to work with their customer service department for a month now with no resolution. It clearly states that you can post any ** item from the catalog because they have passed their peer review and received either a GA rating or an ** rating. 10:46 AM - I had one of my ** posts flagged by another user and taken down by **********************.
